The delegation from Leeds Beckett University, UK visited the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar on 9th March, 2023. The delegation comprised of Prof. Deveral Capps - Dean, School of Law; Mr. Joe Rossiter - Acting Director, International Recruitment & Partnerships and Ms. Jayashree Raghuram - South Asia Head. They met Dr. J. M. Vyas - Hon'ble Vice Chancellor of NFSU and discussed on various topics of Forensic Science, Criminology, Victimology, Cyber Security, and allied subjects with possible collaboration. The delegation also visited state-of-the-art infrastructure facilities at NFSU such as the Centre of Excellence in Cyber Security, Centre of Excellence in Investigative and Forensic Psychology, Centre of Excellence in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, Centre of Happiness and Well-Being and Ballistics Research Centre and Testing Range. Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal - Campus Director, NFSU; Prof. (Dr.) Naveen Kumar Chaudhary - Dean, School of Cyber Security and Digital Forensics; Air Commodore K.R. Thaakar - Dean, School of Police Science and Security Studies; Prof. (Dr.) Manjunath Ghate - Dean, School of Pharmacy; Prof. (Dr.) Satish Kumar - Dean, School of Forensic Science, Prof. (Dr.) P. Maity - Dean, School of Engineering and Technology; Dr. G. Rajesh Babu - Dean, School of Medico-legal Studies were present during the visit.
