The Pro Bono Club of the School of Law Forensic Justice and Policy Studies, NFSU organized Western Regional Pro Bono Conclave on 17 March 2023 at National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar. Hon’ble Justice Ms. Sonia Gokani, Former Chief Justice of the High Court of Gujarat, graced the occasion as a Chief Guest of the event. Padma Shri Dr. J. M. Vyas, Vice Chancellor, National Forensic Sciences University, Prof. (Dr.) S O Junare, Campus Director, NFSU-Delhi; Shri C.D. Jadeja, Executive Registrar-NFSU; and Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar and Dean, School of Law Forensic Justice & Policy Justice, NFSU, were present. Several competitions were held for students, including RTI Drafting, PIL, Extempore, and Client Counselling post which, the student coordinators from the participating universities gave a presentation about the activities associated with their respective Pro Bono Clubs, their aim, mission, and way forward. Dr. Navtika Singh Nautiyal, Assistant Professor and Nodal Officer of Pro Bono Club, SLFJPS, NFSU coordinated the event.
