The School of Law, Forensic Justice & Policy Studies at the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU), Gandhinagar, hosted a 3-day 1st National Technological Moot Court Competition (NTMCC). The valedictory ceremony was held on 26th March 2023. The Chief Guest of the valedictory ceremony was Hon'ble Mr. Justice M. R. Shah, Judge, Supreme Court of India. The event was attended by several law schools from all over India. Chief Guest and other prominent legal figures distributed the prizes to the winners. Dignitaries on the dais were Hon'ble Mr. Justice M. R. Shah, Judge, Supreme Court of India; Hon'ble Dr. Justice Kaushal Thaker, Judge, High Court of Allahabad; Hon'ble Mr. Justice S. G. Shah, Former Judge, High Court of Gujarat; Hon'ble Mr. Justice P.P. Bhatt, Former Judge, High Court of Jharkhand; Hon'ble Mr. Justice A.C. Joshi, Former Judge, High Court of Gujarat and Mr. Mitesh R. Amin, Sr. Advocate, Gujarat; Prof. (Dr.) S.O. Junare, Campus Director-NFSU-Delhi, and Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Campus Director-NFSU-Gandhinagar. The Chief Guest, Hon'ble Mr. Justice M. R. Shah, encouraged the participants in his speech. He said that you should never be afraid of defeat and play your natural game with a commitment to achieve success in life. Jaipur National University emerged as the winner of the 1st NFSU NTMCC, with GLS University as the runners-up. GLS University was also awarded the Best Memorial, VIT School of Law's Lathangi G was named the Best Speaker, and NMIMS School of Law's Kirat Hora was named the Best Researcher. The event successfully combined technology with law, highlighting the legal implications of technology in the future. The moot proposition presented an exciting challenge to the participants across the legal spectrum, and the teams prepared commendably within a short period. Dr. Bishwa Das, Faculty Convenor-NFSU, briefly overviewed the competition. Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, Dean of SLFJ&PS & Campus Director, NFSU-Gandhinagar, welcomed the dignitaries, participants, and students. Dr. Tarkesh Molia expressed a vote of thanks. Deans, Associate Deans, Faculty members of the NFSU, and students were present during the function.
